Mom's Spaghetti and Meatballs


  • 1 pound spaghetti

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 egg

  • Salt and pepper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 cups marinara sauce


  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.

  • In a bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8 minutes.

  • Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.

  • Serve the meatballs and sauce over the cooked spaghetti. Enjoy!
